COVID-19 SAFETY, & POLICIES

The COVID-19 pandemic impacted nearly every aspect of our lives, and photography is no different. As a small business owner, I strive not only to deliver photos that you will love and cherish for a lifetime, but I want you to have a safe and memorable experience during your session with me. In my "other" work life I am an infectious disease scientist by training and work in health and science consulting, so I very much understand the importance of preventing the spread of this disease, even now. As a result, I have implemented some changes to how I operate, incorporating updated health and safety measures to ensure that we all maintain safety as the top priority during this unprecedented time. 

Alexia Ballantine Photography is registered in the state of Maryland, so first and foremost, I am and will continue to adhere to state and federal guidelines regarding the operation of my business. I am fully vaccinated and boosted, and I am currently shooting only outdoor sessions. I adhere to social distancing whenever possible and will always wear an N95 mask during sessions, even outdoors. In addition, I also sanitize my hands and gear throughout your session. I also require clients to reschedule if they or someone close to them are ill with ANY symptoms at all and only work with clients who take COVID-19 seriously so that I can keep you, me, and my family safe and healthy.
